![]() ![]() Unfortunately my Wi-Fi was terrible and the hotel know all about the issue. Too hot to cross the road to Walmart in summer, I started four times and gave up hehe, not the hotel's fault but the vibe in the hotel was great The room was lovely and fully equiped, all the usual Boyd standards. I didn't as it goes, I was very happy on site. The rate in Boulder far better suited my needs than the Strip and I knew I could use their free shuttle service. Only where great value exists when this resort fee crap exists. So, where value exists, I have started staying some nights at Boyd again. Also, I always paid the $9.99 for the internet and now that is included it's not even 10 bucks more. Why? Because I like the standard at Boyd and let's face it they often offer great value for a fairly great room that punches about its weight for similar rooms around Downtown, Boulder and the off-Strip property market (and beyond). However, whilst I now stay 90% at decent non-devious hotels that don't incur unjustifiable fees, I now have slightly reverted back to Boyd. Then Boyd stepped onto the misleading and highly disgusting resort fee train and I stopped booking with them immediately. I am fairly accustomed to staying at Boyd now I have lots of thoughts about Boyd but it's fair to say I was a big fan (no resorts fees!).
